Description:
This program aims to increase the use of modern family planning methods among young men and women in Albania. The initial phase will consist of activities that increase awareness of family planning services available in the private and public sectors, counter misconceptions about family planning methods, and improve informed choice through a large, multi-media public information campaign. The next phase of the program will focus on improving transparency and accountability in the public health system by educating the public and health providers regarding their rights and responsibilities under the PHC system.
