Description:
Peace Corps Volunteers, in partnership with Albanian country officials and community counterparts and non-governmental and community organizations, design and implement sustainable development activities that are responsive to locally defined needs and problems through training, technical assistance, information development and dissemination, and grants. The project strengthens the local communities where the Peace Corps Volunteers work in their capacity to actively promote community development and support economic growth and agricultural development; builds human capacity through education and training; protects human health and the environment for long-term sustainability; and integrates women into the economic, political and social development of communities across Albania.
