Description:
The East Central
European Scholarship Program, managed by the Center for Intercultural Education and Development (CEID) at Georgetown University provides long-term (6-12 months) US-based academic and internship programs, as well as short-term professional training for leaders, administrators and managers from Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Romania, Kosovo and Serbia. By creating a core of well-trained East European leaders and experts, the program fosters the development of stronger democratic institutions and market economies in the region.  In Albania, the program targets experts from the central and local government institutions and think tanks to develop public policy expertise and foster values of good governance.
